This is an incredible group of people dedicated to helping our kids. Our Bali Kids is managed by Renee and Patrick. Daily operations are being handled by their foster daughter, Denok and her husband Adhi. We have know Denok since she was 14 years old. They met her at the Salvation Army Orphanage in Denpasar, where she grew up, and she has been part of their family ever since. Denok lived with them in the US for 7 years and her husband for 4 years before moving back to Sulawesi, a island in Indonesia, to be near Adhi’s family. In September 2018, Denok, Adhi and their baby, Zay, moved to Negara to help with Our Bali Kids. With her business degree, Denok has been invaluable. Adhi spent years in construction while in the US as well and has taken over the construction of Our Bali Kids Orphanage. With their knowledge and experience, we have been able to accomplish much more than we had hoped for.
We currently have 5 of 10 houses built around our new Sports Field & Gazebo. Our maintenance people are carefully selected to be positive role models for our kids as well.
Paulus & Ruth
Original Founders
In 1987, Paulus and Ruth, both of whom grew up in an orphanage in East Java, founded Mahanaim Orphanage in Negara. After getting married, they purchased land in Negara to establish their own orphanage, inspired by a vision to create a place filled with love, care, and a strong sense of family. After decades of devoted service, Paulus has now retired from his active role, entrusting the daily operations and growth of Our Bali Kids Orphanage to our dedicated team.
Denok, Ahdi, Zay, and Ryder
Director of Orphanage & construction Manager
