Donations are great but what these children need is time. As we know with our own kids, nothing shows you care like spending time with them. Like all kids, they want to know that they are loved. Many have led tragic lives and if we hope to change their lives, we need to show them that we will be there for them. The feeling that someone loves them and will sacrifice for them is, for the most important part, something they have not yet experienced. We have modified a part of the orphanage to accommodate volunteers. We have two bedrooms with a pair of bunks in each, that will accommodate 4. They share a bathroom and a small kitchenette. If you would like to help out in anyway, feel free to contact us. We are always looking for people to teach things like English, construction, plumbing, automotive repair or even computer skills.
